Fertility Restore Program

Because fertility struggles are never just from a singular cause this program works with several modalities that feature very exclusive care to address the delicate balance of emotional, mental, and physical health that needs to be restored for the body to flow in a fertile state.

What is the Shared Journey Fertility Program?

The Shared Journey Fertility Program uses the therapy techniques developed by Dr. Jennifer Mercier.
The numbers don’t lie. Dr. Mercier’s impressive case study indicated an 83% pregnancy success rate within one year of finishing the Shared Fertility Program offers couples struggling to conceive hope, especially in the face of more invasive and expensive treatments (in vitro fertilization’s success rate is as low as 20% and depends on the clinic) .
Retraining pelvic organs to return to their normal status and function is the common-sense approach to increasing your chance of conceiving and improving your health at the same time.

The first step is scheduling a consultation.  Approximately 90 minutes in length, Helen will take a comprehensive health intake including medical history, lab work, lifestyle, diet, stress management and physically assess/externally evaluate the position and mobility of the uterus and ovaries. A tentative outline of care and goals are discussed.

Mercier Therapy

Merciér therapy is for women of all ages—from teens to those going through menopause—who are searching for a more natural approach to their pelvic issues. Merciér therapy offers an alternative therapy for those who do not want or cannot afford traditional conventional medical treatments for fertility problems, endometriosis, or other painful reproductive tract problems. Helen will help assess the root causes of your pelvic discomfort based on history, stress, relationships, etc… and together you will come up with a treatment plan that best serves long term relief.

Why Can Mercier Therapy Do For Me?

Why Can Mercier Therapy Do For Me?
At IP Fertility we take a holistic approach to client care; taking a thorough health history to customize a healing plan utilizing natural therapies and diet coaching as well as offering supplement/herb suggestions to enable optimal healing and restoration.
Mercier Therapy, developed by Dr. Jennifer Mercier, is a safe, non-vaginal, deep visceral manipulative technique for women facing fertile challenges, experiencing pelvic pain, hormone imbalances, endometriosis, sexual trauma, bladder incontinence, traumatic birthing experiences, and recovery from gynecologic surgery.
Adhesions may develop through a woman’s lifetime as a result of abdominal, pelvic, hip or back surgery, endometriosis, use of an IUD, a fall, infection or disease in the reproductive or urinary tract, or other pelvic inflammation or trauma. Adhesions act like glue — disrupting the function of affected organs.
The end goal of Mercier Therapy pelvic work is to decrease adhesions in and around organs, ligaments, muscles, joints and support structures of the pelvis, abdomen, hips and low back.  So many women can attest to the relief they’ve received from this modality.

Foot Zone Therapy

Foot zoning is an incredible way to access the body’s system to encourage homeostasis and healing. Many clients enjoy better sleep, increased immunity, less pain, and inflammation, increased fertility, and improved emotional balance, to name a few.

FXN Nutrition Counseling

Helen has worked through hundreds of sessions involving preplexing health issues, using her nutrition training and foot zoning techniques, helping her clients shift into a state of empowerment while promoting self-healing and awereness. She respects the biodiversity of every individual and acknowledges that there is no “one size fits all” remedy but rather the importance of one’s belief that healing is possible when the ideal enviroment and nourishment is available.

What is Foot Zone Therapy?

One could think of foot zoning as a sort of gently trigger therapy, not very unlike acupressure or reflexology, developed by Dr. Charles Ersdal MD of Norway. A good foot zoner will be able to read the feet and the way the signals accept the treatment and use this information to help guide the client on a path of awareness and self healing. Anyone can enjoy and benefit from a foot zone, adults, children, babies; foot zones are safe and non-invasive. Many recipients find immediate relieve from menstrual cramps, cysts, headaches, back pain, kidney stones, anxiety, chronic pain, etc.. Zone therapy encourages the body’s natural healing and promotes homeostasis.

Some common benefits include

  • Improved blood circulation
  • Hormone balance (increased fertility)
  • Improved Lymph Flow and detoxification
  • Digestive benefits (including absorption of nutrients and elimination)
  • Vegas Nerve Stimulation
  • Better Sleep
  • Improved Mental Health
  • Encourages the body to heal itself!

What Can I Expect From A Nutrition Counseling Session?

A careful review of medical history, current lifestyle, and goals will be discussed at your initial consultation appointment with Helen – these are usually 60 minutes in length. From there, we will work together through nutrition interventions at a pace that is comfortable and sustainable for you, generally meeting every two weeks. At the end of each follow-up consultation, we’ll establish clear and doable goals or protocols for you to work on in between sessions. Helen will be available to support and guide you throughout this journey to better health.

How Often Do I Need To Follow Up?

Change can be hard and support is essential if we are going to find success implementing new habits and lifestyle changes. Helen will discuss how often she feels would be of the greatest advantage based on the information she has at the time of care. Appointments can be made in person or via phone. The most important thing is consistency!
After some foundational work, we can start to integrate functional changes; this is where we start to see true and lasting change. Because support through this process is so important, Helen will work with clients using a free platform called “healthie” that enables her to stay updated on progress goals and chat via a portal that is HIPAA compliant; meaning your privacy and health information stays private.
Food has the power to heal, which is why focusing on the gut biome is paramount as we work together and look at the “holistic” picture.  Reputable nutrition supplements that support overall health and healing may be recommended and are always optional.
Working behind the scenes; evaluating lab test results, researching, and writing personalized strategies are part of the work involved in preparing for new and current clients. If you would like to work with Helen please fill out the contact form and she will get back to you shortly
